This year saw the exciting introduction of The Encore Award, a brand-new tradition proudly presented by Sheldon Alumni to honour the outstanding efforts of a student in the College Senior Musical. It was created to recognise the dedication, passion, and stage presence of student performers. The award also acts as a further opportunity for our alumni community to connect with our current students. 

We invited back 2024 Alumnae Sophie Thomsen and Lucy Norman to be part of our alumni audience and to present The Encore Award following the show. Sophie and Lucy were to watch the performance, and based on this select a student whom they could not take their eyes off, regardless of how many lines or solos. The inaugural award was presented to Katie Yoo (Year 10 student) as the first-ever recipient for her eye-catching performance. The Encore Award offers a meaningful way to celebrate and support the next generation of performers. We look forward to presenting this award for years to come!
